Thanksgiving holidays

A lot has happened since my last post. It’s the Thanksgiving holidays, so I have way too much time on my hands.

1. I’ve finished watching Doctor Who Season 3 (including Time Crash), but I’ve lost practically every episode I’ve downloaded (see a few points down)

2. I tried out LH 4074, which broke down after only a few minutes of use.

3. I installed LH 3718.

4. I wiped out my Ubuntu install, along with everything on my big HDD (13GB),which included all but the last couple of episodes of Doctor Who Season 3. This happened because I didn’t feel like splitting all the episodes to transfer them to the laptop for safekeeping. I got rid of the Ubuntu install to put Microsoft .NET Server 2003 Build 3718 on it.

5. I put XP on my big HDD so I could mount the Server ISO to install it.

6. I installed Server.

So now I have a triple boot (sorta) of XP, .NET Server 2003 Build 3718, and LH Build 3718. Of course, my “current OS’s” are subject to change at any moment when I’m bored.

Anyway, the Thanksgiving holiday (I get all week off) is only halfway over. I wonder what other stupid things I will find to waste my time during the second half.

Anyway, on Server, I have themes service turned on, so I’ll post a screenshot (which will basically look like XP Media Center with a Manage your Server desktop icon).

Now, if only I actually knew how to use a server…

Oh yeah, I’ll post another screenshot showing my cluttered My Computer window. 😛 (and I can make it even more cluttered, but I’m not gonna reboot just to do that; I could add my second floppy drive and my ZIP drive)

I can’t figure out how to embed these images, so just go to these links instead.
